For her second collection as artistic director, Yiqing Yin transforms the Léonard woman by playing on the duality between opposing strength and romantic softness. Denim is printed or mixed with lace on pantsuits, shirts or shorts. Organza becomes vaporous on full jackets and skirts. Dresses drape, tie and transform. Prints from the house’s 60’s and 70’s archives are reinterpreted in a bold, modern way by the choice of materials, and the explosion of color reinforces the idea of this new energy brought by the French designer.
