More than ten years after the release of its first signature fragrance, Paul Smith presents the most intimate and personal fragrances in the brand’s history, Portrait For Men and Portrait For Women, two new scents directly inspired by travel, photography and memories.

Portrait for Women

A refreshing green floral, Portrait for Women is fresh, light and feminine, with a spicy, fruity opening, a powdery heart and a sensual, musky base. A fragrance that paints a vivid picture of a garden of Wild Roses, to which Myrrh and Musk add originality, elegance and depth, and where Black Tea evokes an exotic voyage. A veritable kaleidoscope of flowers, spices and fragrant ingredients of yesteryear.

Portrait for Men

Woody and spicy with a musky, sensual and deep base, Portrait For Men features a distinctive Green Tea note, accompanied by Cardamom, Pink Pepper, Cedar and a soft, sensual balsamic facet brought by Baume de Tolu. A blend of spices brought back from Paul’s travels around the world with notes from the perfumery of yesteryear, such as Myrrh, which I’ve revisited with a modern touch. A “made-to-measure” sensation, like a sumptuous fabric caressing the skin.

These two bottles are elegant, timeless and inspired by the accessories of the perfect traveler – the flask and the camera. Both fragrances are contained in the same glass and metal bottle, reinforcing the link between the two fragrances, but also between a man and a woman, with faceted glass differing only in color. The men’s bottle combines silver metal with smoky gray glass, while the women’s bottle combines a metallic base with golden highlights with transparent glass, revealing a blush-colored juice.

In all Paul Smith boutiques and approved perfumers from September 5, 2013.
