American couturier Kim Hicks presented her couture collection for the first time in Paris during this past Fashion Week.

Kim Hicks drew her inspiration from the glamorous nuances of the 20s and 30s, where art décor meets Victorian Pre-Raphaelite painting.
Details coiled in feather-primed embroidered pleats, organza flower embellishment and daring laces. Fabrics wind and embroider with crystals in colors from icy blue to emerald green, from lees to browns. These color contrasts reveal the discretion of a touch of iridescent metallic gray.
An outstanding New York designer with a passion for fashion from an early age, she graduated with honors from the BFA and Parsons graduating class of 1991.
Recognized by her peers and the American press (Lifetime Channel, New York magazine, Vogue US and WWD), she became a finalist in the Lord and Taylor Dress design competition.
Self-employed since 1997, she uses high-quality fabrics adorned with delicate feathers, embroidered with precious pearls and crystals, creating
veritable pieces of wearable art! From her very first collection, her dresses have been sold in the famous Bergdorf Goodman department store and in her Tribeca workshops.
