Cuvée Pol Roger Brut Vintage 2004 is a champagne made from the traditional Pol Roger blend: 60% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay from 20 Grands Crus and Premiers Crus in the “Montagne de Reims” and “Côte des Blancs” regions. Produced in limited quantities, the Pol Roger Brut Vintage 2004 aged 8 years in our cellars before being released. Intense and luminous, its beautiful white gold color is combined with a fine, even and persistent cordon. The nose is mineral, elegant and complex, with notes of white flowers and fresh quince. The attack is marked by an intense, refined vivacity. Delicate aromas of brioche, acacia honey and pear underline the wine’s balance and complexity, without betraying its delicacy. Long and sustained, the finish highlights delicious citrus notes (fresh grapefruit). A fine champagne to be enjoyed on its own or as an aperitif with foie gras toast. At the table, it’s the ideal companion for tender yet mellow dishes such as poultry supreme with chanterelle mushrooms or sweetbreads with morel mushrooms.
