From September 20 to 22, 2013, France celebrates its new world-renowned heritage: gastronomy. And for the occasion, the chefs at Atelier Guy Martin are donning their finest aprons to welcome young and old alike to wildly participatory competitions and cocktails!
For the third year running, Chef Guy Martin and his team are pulling out all the stops, making the Atelier the place to be for gourmets, in a warm, festive atmosphere. “Demystifying great cuisine and sharing it in a different way” is the Chef’s motto! And with good reason: on Saturday September 21, Atelier Guy Martin kicks off the festivities with the 7th edition of We Will Cook You, a participatory gourmet cocktail party with a rally feel, dedicated to our beloved gastronomic heritage. The principle is simple: customers take over the Atelier for the evening, helping to finalize the dishes in the kitchen with the invaluable assistance of the chefs, in a rocking, chic and gourmet atmosphere. For the occasion, a number of artisan producers will be on hand to surprise us with their new gourmet creations for the fall season.
And don’t get me wrong, even the grown-ups have the right to get their hands dirty, and Guy Martin understands this. What better way to celebrate French gastronomy than to pass on to future generations the values and flavors of our heritage? Youpla…hummmm! L’Atelier Guy Martin is offering a Children’s Competition, an opportunity for budding cooks to show off their talents and impress the chefs accompanying them. To take part, each child sends his or her favourite recipe to the Atelier, which will then select its 10 favourites, which will then be prepared by the little chefs under the watchful eye of professionals. A unique experience that children can share with the friends of their choice – mother, grandfather or cousin – with only one watchword: good, beautiful and original! 
Original, indeed. For the past four years, this workshop, created by the Michelin-starred chef who gave it its name, has been bringing together cooking enthusiasts in a variety of ways throughout the day, with a special focus on seasonal ingredients!
