LUXSURE, always on the lookout for new talent and emerging artists, today unveils a photographer/plastician whose talent lies in capturing the beauty of simple, everyday things.

JULES VIERA, a newcomer to Paris, imposes his lively, knowledgeable works through photographs with natural light. It’s this aspect that appealed to us.

“Sacré-Coeur” from the “MICROCLICK” series

For one of his plastic series, the artist draws inspiration from Bernard BUFFET and figurative art, adding to his repertoire a collection of enigmatic faces, caricatured in pastels.

In JULES VIERA‘s work, everything is subjective, leaving the viewer to his or her own imagination. Such is the case with the two series entitled “MORSE” & “STRATE“. The rigor of the collage forms contrasts with the carefully studied and reworked paint drips.

JULES VIERA also offers us his vision of the “Big Apple”, through his eyes, New York appears to us as new, bathed in sunlight.

Finally, a series we particularly liked at LUXSURE: MICROCLICK: or Paris in perpetual motion. Behind his lens, monuments come to life, they dance. The masterful use of light, more than ever present in his work, is the signature of this master capturer of timeless moments.

JULES VIERA is currently working with a number of Parisian galleries,
