If there’s one show I couldn’t miss, it’s this one. As a contestant last year on this unidentified television object, which met with considerable success, I was in the front row to judge and talk about this new season. In fact, I refused to take part in the new season, because too much reality TV kills reality TV, and some stupid things only happen once 😉 .
Curious, then, because my comrades and I had just been through the mill, we knew nothing of the adventure that lay ahead. So we were probably more spontaneous and naive. How was Studio89 going to renew the concept now that everyone knew what the show was like?
So we needed innovation and surprises. And these surprises are big.
Once upon a time, there was a beautiful young woman looking for love…
This year, La Belle’s name is Nelly. Pretty and bubbly, she often fell for extremely handsome men, but they were never able to make her happy because they didn’t have the human qualities she was looking for. Having suffered from the male gaze for many years, Nelly is now uncompromising about the sincerity of her feelings. When she was younger, she was overweight and dressed like a tomboy. For a long time, this lack of femininity attracted the mockery of those around her. As a result of this painful past, Nelly now has a special regard for those who are not very beautiful, and attaches particular importance to the beauty of the heart. This sensitivity brings a new particularity to this second season. Now a very pretty young woman, Nelly dreams of finally meeting her Prince Charming and taking her revenge on her complicated past. To this end, she has decided to move into a house to meet a number of single men, all determined to seduce her.
… and has devised a stratagem to achieve it!
For this new season, La Belle is going to change the rules of the game. Nelly has come up with a ploy to find true love… She’s going to voluntarily make herself up! Nelly will go from a size 38 to a size 44 with fake buttocks and arms. A method that will enable her to test the participants on their main motivations and judge their true feelings. Why take part in this adventure?
My past love life has been pretty chaotic. I haven’t really been lucky in love. Last year, I was a loyal viewer of Season 1 of “La Belle et Ses Princes”, and that really made me want to take part in the show. La Belle’s image is very well respected in this program. Being single, I said to myself “why not try the adventure and meet the man of my dreams?
This year, the rules of the game have changed. How did you cope with your physical transformation?
For me, this stratagem was essential to finding true love. Having suffered a lot from the way men looked at me for many years, reliving this situation was no easy task. It allowed me to test the participants on their main motivations and judge their real feelings. I have to admit that I was a bit worried that people would laugh at me, judge me… or worse, that the singles would run away! I’ve had some very nice surprises…
What do you consider to be the essential qualities of Prince Charming?
I’m very talkative, outgoing and independent. In love, I need honesty and trust. I also have a bit of a “wacky” side, so humor is an indispensable quality in a man. As for physical appearance, it’s not really the most important thing for me.

My opinion:
The first episode, which we were able to preview, shows us that Nelly’s stratagem is working, provoking some very funny situations and once again showing the limits of the beauty of the heart in dominant males.
The cast is once again top-notch, to say the least. And we laugh heartily at the shortcomings of the characters, who are equally stereotypical and sometimes even ridiculous suitors and seducers. From Parisian metro monomaniacs to virgins, mad scientists and brainless pretty boys, we’ve got it all.
The big surprise is also the return of Anthony, who after failing to find love in the first season, then on Tellement Vrai, is relentlessly pursuing this new season… will he ever?
Fabrice seems to be this season’s top-heavy revelation, and after just one hour, I already felt like deleting him.
Nelly is cute despite her perpetual duckface. She goes from outfit to outfit at a disconcerting pace. Above all, she seems to have a lot of personality and to be less smooth than Marine.
In short, she’s a barrel of laughs, even if it all lacks a little freshness.
