The Prix de la Closerie des Lilas was awarded by absolute majority to Alice Zeniter for Sombre dimanche published by Albin Michel, against two votes for Emmanuelle Bernheim for Tout s’est bien passé published by Gallimard, two votes for Fanny Chiarello for Une faiblesse de Carlotta Delmont published by Olivier, two votes for Oriane Jeancourt Galignani for Mourir est un art, comme tout le reste published by Albin Michel. The Lilas du livre 2013 was awarded to Diane de Selliers. Created in 2007, the Prix de la Closerie des Lilas aims to promote women’s literature. It is awarded to a French novel written by a woman and published between January and March.

Guest judges in 2013: Lydia Bacrie, France Cavalié, Anne-Claire Coudray, Sophie Davant, Arielle Dombasle, Françoise Héritier, Nathalie Rykiel, Delphine de Vigan. The permanent jury: Emmanuelle de Boysson (president), Adélaïde de Clermont-Tonnerre, Carole Chrétiennot, Stéphanie Janicot, Jessica Nelson, Tatiana de Rosnay.

Awarded by the Lilas Academy, made up of previous juries for the Closerie prize
Lilas, it is a tribute to the book trade. It is chaired by Marie-Christine Imbault and Brigitte Kernel (vice-president).
The Lilas du livre 2013 was awarded to Diane de Selliers, an art book publisher who, for over twenty years, has associated seminal literary texts with prestigious painters.
