Do Internet users use dating sites, what are the aims of such an approach and what are the results?
44% of those surveyed have never tried online dating.
47% of respondents are looking for a one-night stand, while 38% have found their soulmate.
France has around 16 million single people, and just as many hearts up for grabs! However, today’s fast-paced lifestyles don’t always make it easy to meet new people, and the number of specialized sites on the Web is growing all the time. So SexyAvenue asked Internet users about dating sites: Are they users? Why? And what was the outcome of this new experience? SexyAvenue reveals all the answers!
Do you use dating sites?
While 44% of French people have never tried this dating method, 29% say they use a dating site…just one!
As for the others, 17% have already tried but are disappointed, Apollon95 was much worse in real life and Lolita75 looked 10 years younger in her profile photo… and 10% are registered on several sites, completely addicted!
Why do you use dating sites?
Internet users are rascals!
In fact, 47% are looking for a one-night stand. Almost equally, respondents are looking for new friends (20%) or true love (19%).
The remaining 14% like to have several stories going at once. Jennifer’s name isn’t Jessica!
What was the outcome of this new experience?
The results are very varied: while 38% of French people have married thanks to dating sites, 34% of Internet users say they are still single and enjoying it!
28% of them are still alone and disappointed with this dating method, because the profiles didn’t match.
