Havana Club takes off for Cuba soon

Mojito Embassy

Ambassade Mojito Havana Club at the “Nüba” for 5 days

From June 11 to 15, the “Nüba” will be the home of Havana Club’s Cuban entertainment. To mark the opening of its Ambassade, an ephemeral bar concept dedicated to Mojitos, Havana Club is taking over one of the largest terraces in Paris, at 36 Quai d’Austerlitz. Transformed into “Cuba”, you’ll stroll down the Havana street created from scratch for the occasion.

Located at the heart of the event, the contemporary Cuban market will provide visitors with fresh mint, lime and white sugar, essential ingredients for making cocktails. Guided by a team of experienced bartenders, you’ll be able to make your own Mojitos with 3-year-old Havana.

The recipe for Cuban nectar will hold no secrets for you! As it should be consumed in moderation, you can start practicing the recipe right away.

Recipe for a purely Cuban Havana Club Mojito

– Have a drink at Mojito Havana Club

– Pour in two teaspoons of white sugar

– Pour in the juice of half a lime, without the wedges to avoid the bitterness of the lemon peel.

– Add two sprigs of fresh mint – not just the leaves, but also the stems, which contain the essential oils that give it its flavour.

– Pour in 9 cl sparkling water, then mash.

– Finally, add 4.5 cl of Havana Club 3 ans and 4 whole ice cubes!

Havana Club Rum, Cuban know-how

Havana Club 3 ans is today the only rum used by Cuba’s best-known bars, including the famous “Bodeguita Del Medio” and “Floridita”, to make their Mojitos. Made from Cuban sugar cane, distilled and aged in oak barrels for at least 3 years, this rum reveals aromas of flowers, sugar cane, herbs and citrus. This makes it ideal for cocktails, especially the Mojito. For José Don Navarro, Havana Club’s first Master Rum Maker: ” Its hard to imagine another white rum with the same strength and complexity of aroma and flavor as Havana Club 3 ans“.
