Rabih Kayrouz ‘s work is renowned for its architectural cuts and exacting construction, but the designer’s approach is far from rational. Emotion is essential to his work. Since 2009 and the opening of Maison Rabih Kayrouz in Paris, he has been working instinctively to design garments that embody ease, elegance and playfulness. Beyond the reality of the garment and the pleasure of wearing it, Rabih Kayrouz’s work reflects exceptional craftsmanship. This delicate balance has seduced the international press and the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne, which invited him to its official calendar right from his first collection in 2009. Presenting four collections a year, Rabih Kayrouz plays delightfully with the codes of couture, which he applies to his ready-to-wear.
For this summer, Rabih Kayrouz is working on knitwear and texture, with “louver” effect cut-outs that give relief to the pieces in the collection.
Dresses are draped to perfection, belted for an exquisite silhouette. Colors are either immaculate or bright and bold. Enough to make an impression this Summer…
