Baden Baden: the sublime escape

Baden Baden…a strange name for a pop band. This German town evokes De Gaulle and his mysterious visit to General Massu during May 68. From now on, we’ll remember the name for another reason.
Baden Baden is also a trio of perfectionist thirtysomethings who have just released their 1st album entitled “coline”. Clearly one of the best French albums of the year. Eric, Julien and Gabriel spent two years concocting this little gem.
Honey-sweet vocals, unstoppable melodies, lyrics in English and French: all ingredients for a delicate, subtle pop cocktail. The band’s influences range from Radiohead to the Innocents to Alain Souchon.

There are 12 tracks on this album, with potential hits galore ( Glorie Lies, la descente, Anyone, Evidemment…)
Baden Baden delivers contemplative, soaring music, the kind of sound that could serve as the soundtrack to a successful seaside vacation. At the wheel of your car, in traffic jams, the band will reconcile you with Bertrand Delanoë.
A must-listen!
