Le Petit Ourson Guimauve celebrated its 50th anniversary at the Salon du Chocolat in Paris. The Cémoi group placed its emblematic delicacy on a pedestal. Easily identifiable by young and old alike, it has been the inspiration for a host of creations. A dress punctuated with teddy bears was created specifically for the event, while an exhibition of giant teddy bears evoked the attraction exerted by the little confectionery. The group’s own stand took on the appearance of a huge birthday cake featuring the animal. The Perpignan-based company established its reputation in 1962 with the creation of the brown bear cub. The little marshmallow figurine covered in milk chocolate has its fans. Recently, fans have been delighted by a new recipe, the White Bear, with chocolate of the same name.
