Launch of the second “Tremplin des créateurs” competition
Alittlemarket.com and its M6 group partners (Teva.fr, Minutefacile.fr and Deco.fr) are launching the second edition of the Tremplin des créateurs, a competition aimed at individual and professional designers. The aim is to raise public awareness of French creativity and know-how in a range of disciplines.
Bringing to light hitherto unknown creators
We all know the designers who are the talk of our dressing rooms, but what about the ones we discover in a small designer boutique?
For its second edition, the Tremplin des créateurs, France’s leading online competition for designers, plans to welcome over 2,500 entries in three disciplines (fashion and accessories, jewelry and home decoration).
Designers from all over France will attempt to win the votes of more than 300,000 Internet users (estimated) and a jury of professionals to be elected “Best Designer in France”.
French web users will be able to share in the passion of more than 2,500 professional and private designers, each presenting their own journey and world through a few of their creations.
Following the online voting, 18 finalists (6 per category) will be submitted to a panel of professional judges, chaired by competition godmother Cendrine Dominguez.
Three winners (one in each category) will be awarded numerous prizes, including a €3,000 bursary to help them get off the ground …
Raising awareness of Made in France design
Every day in France, more than 60 professional and private designers open their stores on the Internet. A renewed interest in Made in France design?
The Tremplin des créateurs aims to promote French know-how by making it visible and accessible to all via an online competition. By using this medium, the election of France’s best designer takes on a whole new dimension, giving visibility to designers and artists who are often overlooked on the web.
The competition is also an opportunity to demonstrate that “Made in France” and “Faites-mains” creations do not represent a higher cost for the consumer, even though they are unique.
By voting for their favorite designers, Internet users may discover Audrey Faloppe, one of France’s last remaining boot makers, or La baita, a designer of customizable leather bags. In other words, a breeding ground for young artists lacking notoriety but not talent!
