Motorola launch: Ayo sets Wagram alight

Wednesday November 16: Motorola presented three new products to the press. A Smartphone and two tablets. The event took place in the prestigious Salle Wagram, a stone’s throw from the Champs Elysées.
Let’s start with the smartphone: the Motorola Razr. Slim and light, it boasts seductive curves. Featuring a superb sculpted glass front with aluminum-colored accents and an ultra-bright 4.3″ Super Amoled Advanced display, the Motorola RAZR is equipped with a Kevlar and Corning Gorilla glass casing that is particularly resistant to scratches. In fact, every component, including the electrical circuitry inside the Motorola RAZR, is protected by an anti-splash coating.

For tablets : Motorola XOOM 2 and Motorola XOOM 2 Media Edition are equipped with AndroidTM 3.2, a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, a bright Corning Gorilla Glass screen and a splashproof coating there too. What’s more, the new MotoCast™1 pre-installed application lets you stream music tracks, photos, videos and documents stored on your PC or Mac and play them on the tablet with ease: no tools, special cables are required to do so. This innovation particularly caught our attention.

The product manager insisted on the quality of the products, which are hydrophobic. It’s clear here that Motorola is seeking to attack Apple head-on, whose products have two major shortcomings: battery life and fragility.

The marketing manager went on to talk about the massive media plan, with TV and billboard campaigns. Motorola is also a partner of the NRJ Music Awards.

The presentation was followed by a private concert by Ayo. The singer has sold over a million albums. She apologizes for having angina, but her voice is truly velvet. She succeeded in bringing a seated, somewhat apathetic crowd to its feet. Of course, she sang her hits and multiplied her asides with a broad smile. It was a beautiful moment.
