Fabergé opens a new boutique in London
The legendary jewelry house has announced its historic return to London’s Mayfair district.
The company’s history in London ended in 1915 when the last Fabergé store closed its doors. Today, Fabergé returns to London’s prestigious jewellery district, at 14A Grafton Street in Mayfair.
For the festive season, the boutique opted for an ephemeral Lila-colored façade, evoking, for the company, the guilloché and enamel work for which it is renowned.
The store’s interior is modern yet combines old and new styles.
Fabergé has also announced its collaboration with the famous Harrods store, which will carry the line of fine jewelry pendant eggs as well as the watch collection.
In New York, a boutique is officially scheduled to open in spring 2012.
