Six scientists, members of the Astronomers’ Club, embark on an expedition to the moon. They set off in a shell fired from a giant cannon. Once on the moon, they discover the light of the earth and meet the Selenites. They escape their king and return to earth. Fallen into the sea, then rescued by a ship, the six heroes of this adventure are given a triumphant welcome.

This is the synopsis of the first science fiction film in history, Georges Méliès’ LE VOYAGE DANS LA LUNE, whose documentary LE VOYAGE EXTRAORDINAIRE, by Serge Bromberg and Eric Lange, recounts the incredible adventure across the century and the challenge of the most complex restoration in the history of cinema.

An incredible moment of poetry! A plunge into the century before and the beginning of cinema.
To orchestrate Moon Trip, Air is at the helm, delivering a thunderous soundtrack that adds depth to the film.
