Take advantage of the vacations to discover the Asia-Europe textile art exhibition at the Musée Jean-Lurçat in Angers until November 13.
The Asia-Europe exhibition will surprise you with its fiber art works, organized around 3 themes: abstraction, nature and the role of man in his environment. Each piece transports you into a different universe, traversing worlds as welcoming as they are frightening (one work depicts a wall populated by rats, for example!).
The works come straight from the imaginations of 21 European and Asian artists from Japan, South Korea, Germany, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Hungary and Italy. A veritable cultural melting pot awaits you!
Our favorite? This exotic work by artist Yasuko Iyanaga, called Cadeau De La Mer, lets us dream of a strange creature combining an octopus and a scarlet flower.
