Alesia: Housse de Racket makes a remarkable comeback.

After an excellent debut album released in 2008 to critical and popular acclaim, Housse de Racket are back with a second opus entitled Alésia. Needless to say, everyone is eagerly awaiting the duo’s return. And so as not to prolong the suspense any longer, it’s fair to say that the band from Chavile confirms all the good things we thought about them.
The French band, made up of Victor le Masne and Pierre Leroux, and signed to Kitsuné and Cooperative Music, delivers 11 tracks in both French and English. It’s quite a challenge to deliver a pop sound worthy of the name in the language of Molière.
Of course, the synthesizer is always in the spotlight. The influences are manifold: Air and Phoenix come to mind, of course, but also the New Wave sound.
This album is a reservoir of hits, with “Roman” and “Human Nature”, for example.
“Arianne” is a very soaring track. Arianne”, a very soaring track, really takes us into the stratosphere.
Hats off to Philippe Zdar for producing this little gem. Housse de Racket will be touring France with this album this summer.
In short, we’re thrilled. Housse de Racket has established itself as a major player on the independent pop-electro scene.
A must-listen!
