Vicomte A., the chic French sportswear brand, continues to expand its international network. After Prague and Salzburg, Arthur de Soultrait, founder of Vicomte A. and Ignacio Edigo Jimenez, Vicomte A.’s partner for Spain since 2009, are pleased to announce the opening of the brand’s first flagship store in Spain, in Madrid’s famous golden triangle at Calle Hermosilla N°11.
The new store is the largest in Europe for the young brand, and illustrates its rapid evolution in terms of products. In fact, the new outlets must be able to offer a complete wardrobe for men, women and children.
Arthur de Soultrait, after establishing Vicomte A. in France (through its 16 monobrand boutiques) and simultaneously in the USA, is planning to open stores in major European cities (London, Brussels, Geneva, Milan…) with the same concept, or even bigger…
The layout designed by decorator Philippe Courtois in a 150 m2 space takes up the brand’s codes in
a classicism diverted, welcoming and original: “damask” wallpaper, ceilings treated with “Paris sky”, Louis XVI medallion.
Fuchsia, the emblematic vitamin color, is found on the wallpaper, curtains and armchairs. The famous Palm tree, reminiscent of Palm Beach, one of the brand’s roots, also takes pride of place in this new space.
The two-tone furniture, rosewood and white, is enhanced by moldings, pilasters and cornices. It contrasts with the lacquered brown oak parquet flooring. The overall effect is a refined showcase for the collection’s vibrant monochrome colors.
The brick walls with their staffed window frames give this boutique a distinctive Louis XIII look. The plum-colored wall panels reflect a very contemporary identity to this particularly warm space.
This prestigious address will be the twenty-first Vicomte A. boutique worldwide.
Ignacio Edigo Jimenez has also opened a 50 m2 showroom at the same address, in order to develop the network of multi-brand boutiques in Spain.
