In 2023, Leica Camera AG, the German manufacturer of legendary cameras, once again dares to push the boundaries of photography with the launch of the Leica M11 Monochrom. This elegant, high-performance camera celebrates the very essence of photography: creating images by playing with light and shadow.
Leica has always blazed its own trail, and the M11 Monochrom is proof of this. This beast of monochrome photography, with its full-format, multi-resolution sensor, creates breathtaking black-and-white images. Photographers have the freedom to choose between 60, 36 or 18 megapixel definitions, depending on their needs. What’s more, the impressive ISO sensitivity range of 125 to 200,000 offers limitless creativity, even in difficult lighting conditions.
This high-tech little gem boasts 256 GB of internal memory and is easily connected to the Leica FOTOS app. Thanks to the Bluetooth link and USB-C port, you can transfer your photos in a flash and work on them in depth. The app also lets you control the camera remotely and preview images on a smartphone or tablet. As the icing on the cake, the M11 Monochrom is certified “Made for iPhone and iPad” by Apple, offering unique options with the included Leica FOTOS cable.
Leica has not skimped on build quality with the M11 Monochrom. Its all-metal body and high-quality aluminum top cover, sapphire crystal-protected screen, robust leather trim and scratch-resistant black paint finish make this camera a true masterpiece.
