Domaine de la Bégude, located between the Mediterranean and the hinterland of Provence, announces the release of 4 new cuvées to celebrate the arrival of fine weather. The estate is a showcase of biodiversity, protected by the Sainte-Baume mountain range, and produces wines with an endearing personality, reflecting this superb terroir.

The 4 cuvées unveiled are: Domaine de La Bégude rosé 2021 and white 2022, Thyrsus rosé 2021 and Cadet de La Bégude rosé 2022. The Domaine’s wines are matured in the ancient 7th-century chapel of Miséricorde de Conil, and the Roulleau family, who own the estate, take the utmost care of the vineyard to produce cuvées that reflect the beauty of the place and tell its story.

Domaine de La Bégude Rosé 2021, 80% Mourvèdre, offers a coral color, notes of tart red berries and a hint of salinity. It goes well with a plate of Pata Negra Jabugo, fish tartare or lightly spiced Mediterranean dishes.

Domaine de La Bégude Blanc 2022, made mainly from Clairette (90%), offers aromas of exotic fruits, toasted almonds, flowers and yellow fruits. Ideal with fish carpaccio or seafood platters.

Thyrsus Rosé 2021, a 100% Mourvèdre natural method wine, has a salmon color and notes of redcurrant, exotic fruit and vine peach. It goes well with squid à la romaine or stuffed zucchini.

Cadet de La Bégude Rosé 2022, a blend of Grenache (70%), Cinsault (25%) and Mourvèdre (5%), offers a luminous coral color, floral and fruity notes and a touch of citrus. Perfect with summer salads or grilled fish.

The vintages are available from the Domaine de la Bégude e-boutique.
