A reflection by Nate B. Jones invites us to look at what AI makes possible, beyond its price tag. For a Maison, the right starting point is a client need that has so far been difficult to address.
A reduction in processing cost does not yet tell us what the client gains. In the public excerpt of his September 20, 2026 analysis, Nate B. Jones suggests looking at the services that the cost of attention previously made difficult to offer. The question deserves to be applied to luxury, where the quality of the relationship contributes to the value of the object.
Starting from a precise request
A Maison could choose a narrowly defined need: retrieving care instructions, preparing an appointment, or routing a documentation request. The goal would be to first describe what the person expects and what currently makes the response slow or incomplete.
This approach avoids mistaking the volume of automated responses for a result. A faster but less accurate response can shift the cost onto the client, who is then forced to rephrase or seek out an advisor afterward.
Comparing a service promise
Luxsure’s methodological proposal is to compare an initial situation with a limited trial. Monitoring should focus on the time actually spent by teams, the corrections required, and the resolution of the request. The possibility of obtaining human help remains a component of the service, not merely a fallback in case of failure.
It is also necessary to specify where the gain is reinvested. A team can reduce a repetitive burden, enrich its guidance, or make accessible a form of help that was previously reserved for a few situations. These choices do not carry the same weight for the client.
Jones’s excerpt serves here as a starting point for reflection, not as proof of a universal return. The value of an AI project becomes visible when one can name what the additional attention allows one to do better. The technical cost is then only part of a more concrete assessment: quality, effort, and continuity of the relationship.
