A Belle Époque style decor

A decoration dating from 1901 has been reinterpreted by Gérard Cholot, to whom we owe the two institutions Chartier and Thoumieux. It has kept the “Grande Époque” atmosphere, with 19th century tiles and a ceiling painted on glass by Gilbert, the famous painter, velvet benches, chandeliers and a magnificent empire bar.

On the first floor, a change of decor, a baroque and cosy atmosphere is the order of the day with a zebra-skin waiting room. It is possible to privatize a particular lounge, the ideal place, a little hidden, that we reserve to celebrate events and live friendly and delicious moments.

A true Parisian institution with stainless steel charm, Chez Julien has an idyllic and flowery setting, where you can make a detour for the beautiful days!

At the helm of this unique place, Alexandre Chapon, with his 25 years of experience in cult addresses (L’Enoteca, Vins des Pyrénées, Plage Parisienne, Bistrot Vivienne, Pamela Popo…) has surrounded himself with a team that shares his love for French gastronomy.

A total of 120 places are available to customers: A first terrace on the small pedestrian square of the rue des Barres with a crazy charm, a second terrace in full sun for the aficionados of the sun and the small last one, intimate and quiet to escape from the crowded streets of Paris.
