La Plage Parisienne (Beaumarly)
Design by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio
Inspired by the spirit of the guinguette, where people of all ages met, socialized, drank and danced, La Plage Parisienne has written a chic, colorful version. Located on the quays of Beaugrenelle, a district that continues to gain in prominence, talented interior designer Martin Brudnizki (already behind the flamboyant decor of Annabel’s private club and Sexy Fish in London, as well as the Jardins du Presbourg in Paris) is responsible for the decor.
La Plage Parisienne is adorned with plant frescoes in tones reminiscent of Auguste Renoir’s Déjeuner des Canotiers. The place evokes the Roaring Twenties of a fantasized Paris, the frivolity of its cabarets and the heady atmosphere of endless nights of partying. Precious carmine-hued fabrics by Pierre Frey sit alongside verdant plants, incandescent trellises, vintage lighting and flea-market rugs on which a Josephine Baker could sway at any moment. Completely out of the ordinary, this soaring spot also boasts a beautiful terrace to be discovered on sunny days, with a plunging view over the Seine like few others in Paris.

The restaurant opens naturally, through huge sliding glass windows, onto a sublime garden suspended over the rooftops of Paris. Imagined by Raphael Navot as the prow of a ship, with a century-old olive tree floating at its summit, it reflects the beauty of nature and the elements. Sheltered from the hustle and bustle of Paris, this unique garden, peaceful and comfortable, offers the chance to enjoy the fine bubbles of a grand cru Champagne, a colorful cocktail or simply a coffee, with a panoramic view of the kitchens and bar.
