HUBLOT UNVEILS THE BIG BANG e PREMIER LEAGUE

Swiss watchmaker Hublot, Official Timekeeper of the Premier League, announces a limited edition of its connected watch, the Big Bang e

Hublot is proud to unveil the Big Bang e Premier League, a new evolution of its Big Bang connectée that includes a dedicated application, a new dial and an original purple strap – the signature color of the Premier League.

The limited edition of 200 features a lightweight case in polished and satin-finished titanium. Inspired by the Hublot Big Bang e connected watch launched last year, it offers several additional features specially designed to enhance the experience of Premier League aficionados.

The strap features the Premier League’s signature color and a micro-beaded black ceramic buckle. It can be quickly changed thanks to Hublot’s ingenious “One Click” system. Owners can quickly change the look of their watch by opting for different strap colors and dial configurations.

This new edition, which runs on Wear OS by GoogleTM, comes with the exclusive “Hublot Loves Football Premier League” app, which will later be made available to owners of another version of the Hublot Big Bang e, via hublot.com or the Google Play Store.

The app sends the user animated notifications to inform them of Premier League match kick-offs (15 minutes before the start of the match), goals, penalties, substitutions, yellow and red cards and extra time. The dial can also be configured to display the time in digital or analog mode, and automatically switches to “match mode” at the start of a match.

The application also communicates team composition and VAR decisions. At the final whistle of a match, a countdown starts to indicate the time remaining before the next match. And when two matches are being played at the same time, the user can switch from one to the other simply by touching the display.

Hublot will be equipping Premier League referees with a special version that will not be marketed. Cast in an ultra-light composite, this watch will be even lighter than its ceramic counterpart. It will also benefit from additional functions, including goal-line technology that lets the referee know if the ball has completely crossed the goal line.
