In this harmonious cuvée, Chardonnay, with its remarkable brilliance and amplitude, is in perfect harmony with the enveloping world of Pinot Noir, of exceptional quality in the 2006 harvest. The 2006 vintage opens with a lovely toasty, toasted universe. Tasting follows a path full of mentholated nuances with a hint of citrus that exude lightness and freshness. On the finish, spicy notes assert the House style. And why not try an offbeat pairing where the 2006 vintage CASTELNAU is paired with white truffle cocotte eggs and mouillettes au beurre échiré.
