On May 11, the day of decanting, “S” By Sébastien Laffitte Rosé, vintage 2019, is launched. A Rosé with a pale salmon-pink color, sparkling and crystalline nuances, sensual, gourmand and delicate. A wine that evokes vacations and relaxation wherever you are. To celebrate #déconfinement, a sort of vacation before its time, this Rosé, initially priced at €20, is now offered at a public price of €12.95, like the rest of the rosé range. Sébastien Laffitte imagined and created his Rosés with a few ideas in mind: freshness, sharing, gourmet pleasure and vacations. Take your Rosé, a nice tablecloth, some victuals and relax. For two or more * and whatever the setting, drinking one of his Rosés “S By Sébastien Laffitte” is already a vacation.
Sébastien Laffitte’s Rosés are produced in Monfort-sur-Argens, in the heart of green Provence and its clay-limestone soils.
A collaboration with Valérie Courrèges
Renowned oenologist and technical director of the Caves du Commandeur, Valérie Courrèges has been collaborating with Sébastien Laffitte for several years now. For 2019, they decided to modify the blends used for previous vintages. They concentrated on Grenache and Cinsault. The result is subtle aromas of white flowers (lime blossom and almonds), raspberry and Mara strawberry with the Cinsault grape, mingling with the opulence and spicy aromas of Grenache.
A sensual, fresh and unctuous wine
The “S” By Sébastien Laffitte vintage 2019 is a sensual wine, like a cascade of pearls you drink: fresh, sensual and unctuous all at once. The greediness of its strawberry and raspberry aromas, the sensuality of its white pepper and pink berry spices, the subtlety of its floral notes married to citrus notes. A broad, well-balanced and delicate aromatic palette.
