RED SPOT 15 YEARS: A SECRET FINALLY REVEALED
This Single Pot Still is aged for over 15 years in American bourbon barrels, Spanish Sherry barrels and Sicilian Marsala wine barrels, all of which contribute to the rich, complex flavors of this top-quality whiskey.
Prized for its great complexity, Red Spot offers a sweet blend of ripe fruit from Marsala casks.
The fruit lingers, while red bell pepper and cracked black pepper add a bit of spice, complemented by notes of American oak and barley.

Produced at the Midleton distillery near Cork, Single Pot Still Green Spot (7 yo), Yellow Spot (12 yo) and Red Spot (15 yo) are distilled three times in pot stills from malted and unmalted barley.
They were created in 1887 by the Mitchells, a family of merchants who bought from the Bow Street distillery in Dublin, filling their own casks with wine, sherry, Madeira and Malaga.
Each barrel was marked according to the desired maturation period by a dot of colored paint, giving a name to each expression of this Single Pot Still.
