Le Méridien Etoile will be bringing Parisians a glamorous summer thanks to its new “Au Soleil, a Summer Soirée” program. Just a stone’s throw from the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Élysées, the hotel aims to offer its guests the pleasure of French savoir-vivre, and invites Parisians to enjoy summer essentials in its indoor garden, the Patio Etoile. On the program: long summer days in the shade of parasols on the terrace, rosé, music, tastings of “petits plates”, discovery of summer partners, not forgetting a game of backgammon while lounging on the deckchairs.
Until the end of the summer, around mid-September, a series of events will take place at Patio Etoile on the theme of summer, travel and discovery, all “Au Soleil”. To kick things off, Laurène’s “Au Soleil Tuesdays” will take place on July 9 and 23 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, featuring DIY workshops to create the trendiest accessories for summer.
Le Méridien Etoile promises to enchant afternoons and early evenings with a Boss Nova playlist specially created by Parisian avant-garde pop collective Nouvelle Vague, for a festive moment under the sign of good humor and vacation.
La vie en rosé… A selection of wines, champagnes and cocktails, all in rosé, will be on offer all summer long, for the ultimate Parisian Côte d’Azur experience. Also on the menu are the famous “Sparkling” cocktails, the sparkling signature of the Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts brand, inspired by European flavours. The experience can be accompanied by tapas, a blend of Parisian and Mediterranean terroir.

To liven up the summer season, the Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts brand wants to pay tribute to the elegance and charm of 60s seaside life. The “Au Soleil, a Summer Soirée” campaign celebrates the joie de vivre and glamour of French summers in a timeless atmosphere at over 100 hotels around the world.
The “French Riviera” ambiance of the 60s will encourage travelers to discover the world in a light-hearted way in the brand’s hotels. At Le Méridien Nice, for example, this sunny summer decor is enhanced by the ideal location of La Terrasse – located on the hotel’s rooftop, where the musical atmosphere is provided by DJ sets and saxophone concerts every Wednesday (July and August only), Thursday and Friday from 7pm to 11pm until mid-September. Cradle of the international Jet-Set, Monaco’s Le Méridien Beach Plaza will transform its magnificent private beach into a “
Au Soleil” paradise, with beach bar, sparkling cocktails and plates to share around a pétanque competition open to all, organized every week.
