With its 34 rooms, 5 suites and gourmet restaurant run by young Japanese chef Akira Sugiura, the Hôtel Lumen is turning to balneotherapy with the inauguration of a new Balnéo Deluxe suite. It has been designed to appeal to lovers of the capital, but also to offer a refined, soothing and gourmet getaway for Parisians or tourists who want to travel… in the capital!
Le Lumen.. . is the story of an Armenian family in love with Paris, who built their dream with this hotel-restaurant in the heart of the capital. A family project, the Lumen is a multi-cultural adventure whose sole trajectory is light, expressed right from the entrance hall by a chandelier custom-made in the suburbs of the Pera district, on the Bosphorus strait, between Europe and Asia. The craftsman Herman Bal entrusted with the task of creating the chandelier that would become the signature of their dream hotel came up with the ingenious idea of embedding glass beads in thousands of wedding rings welded together to form the waves of light that illuminate the lobby. Light, then.
