A seasoned staff
Who hasn’t dreamed of playing poker in a dream setting? Well, the Ti Vegas makes this dream accessible for a rather reasonable budget. The casino is located in Grand Baie, the largest seaside resort in Mauritius. Mauritians are renowned for their great sense of hospitality, and this is no legend. The Ti Vegas team is highly professional, with experience of 2 WPT Nationals, 4 DSOs and 1 Asian Poker Tour.
2. A tempting program of tournaments
Following the success of the first two editions, the festival has been extended by a week compared to last year. Every year, more and more players turn up. This year’s mini WSOP will award 14 bracelets in tournaments with buy-ins ranging from €50 to €1,000. The Big Blind Ante format will be applied.
Numerous side events will also be organized, featuring variants such as Omaha. Note that tournaments are only scheduled in the evening. So it’s easy to enjoy the beach during the day and play in the evening. Mauritian nightlife is particularly attractive.
3. Guillaume Darcourt as ambassador
A leading figure in French poker, Guillaume Darcourt will be present at this eagerly-awaited festival. A charismatic, warm-hearted player, the “Boa” promises to put on a show at the tables with his whimsical game.
4. Cash game tables and a friendly atmosphere
In Mauritius, there are no professional players. The Field is made up of recreational players, enthusiasts. The atmosphere is good-natured. There are also players from Reunion, mainland France and a few South Africans. The level is EV + for seasoned players. In addition, several cash game tables will be open at blinds 1.25-2.50 euros / 2.50-5 euros. Players who have skipped tournaments will be able to fall back on these tables.
5. Relatively affordable prices
In short, a truly mouth-watering program! What’s more, the festival takes place at the end of January, at a time when plane tickets (750-850 euros from Paris) and hotels are reasonably priced (70 to 250 euros per night). For further information and to register:
