Sommelier Christelle Taret, owner of Caves du Parc in Neuilly, has created a collection of scented candles to convey the aromas of wine in a new way. For the season, she has created a new fragrance called Robe Rose, in harmony with the fresh notes of Château Peyrassol Rosé. A perfect alchemy is created between the aromas of the wine and the scents of the candle, prolonging the pleasure of wine-tasting.
The slightly iodized scent of the candle, with the freshness of a cut rose stem, meets the fruity nose of white peach, pear, ripe grapes and citrus fruits of Château Peyrassol Rosé 2017, evoking the warmth of summer days and aperitifs by the water. An elegant final note, tinged with a hint of bitterness, goes wonderfully well with a platter of shellfish, grilled fish or a red fruit soup to keep with the summer tones.
The heart of the domaine’s range, the ” Château Peyrassol ” cuvées are available in all three colors. They are made from plot-by-plot selections, mainly from old vines with low yields. They are characterized by their complexity and balance, and perfectly represent the Commanderie de Peyrassol estate’s commitment to excellence.
