50 YEARS OF SUEDE:
PUMA LAUNCHES THE B-BOY PACK
International sports brand PUMA celebrates 50 years of the Suede with exclusive releases, all representative of the different cultures to which this iconic sneaker has contributed – music, fashion, street and pop. This month, PUMA kicks off the festivities with the B-boy pack.
The Suede may have started out as a warm-up shoe, but it soon ventured off the track with the birth of hip-hop in the Bronx. Smooth suede, bold colors and a rubber sole for extra grip: the Suede had everything it took to instantly seduce B-boys. It has since graced streets and stages the world over, and its reinterpretation by new legends confirms its status as a timeless icon, #ForAllTime.
To pay homage to B-boy culture, PUMA launches the B-Boy capsule pack, featuring PUMA Suedes, a T7 jogger, T-shirts and accessories in original styles and colors.
Boys, girls and children can choose from three colors. Men can choose between Black, Flame Scarlet and Forrest Green-Peacoat. Women can choose between Red Dahlia, Spiced Coral and Blue Indigo, while children can opt for Black, Flame Scarlet or Forrest Green. All B-boy Suedes feature the signature rubber outsole, for powerful movement and top-notch dance battles. Thick laces secured to the shoe by a gold plate make these versions revolutionary. The pack comes in a limited-edition Suede 50 shoebox, complete with metallic gold details and logos.
To complement the sneakers and push the audacity even further, the pack is completed by the iconic PUMA T7 Tracksuit in Black and Flame Scarlet with its characteristic 7-inch-wide vertical stripe. The Suede-stamped T-shirt offers all the swag of hip-hop. A bob, a Suede cap and a classic Suede backpack add the finishing touch to this 100% B-boy look.
Suedes and B-boy equipment are available from November 16 on PUMA.com and at leading sneaker retailers worldwide.
