For the festive season, Champagne Pannier unveils its Blanc de Noirs 2012, a grand cuvée… rare, precious and beautifully balanced. A gastronomic Champagne, racy and powerful, that will sublimate the most refined dishes.
Founded in 1899 by Louis-Eugène Pannier, the famous Champagne House excels in the art of creating sublime cuvées that praise elegance and finesse. Today, it is one of the most prestigious Champagne Houses, and its precious bubbles shine all over the world, on the most renowned tables. Located in Château-Thierry, in the heart of the Marne Valley, the House boasts spectacular medieval cellars more than 2 km long, dug to a depth of 30 meters, guaranteeing Pannier Champagnes high-precision maturation.
Philippe Dupuis, the Cellar Master, sculpts his Champagnes with precision, like a goldsmith. His motto: “quality without concessions, and that starts with the raw material”. Over many years, he has built up a solid network of partnerships with the finest winegrowers in the world’s Grands Crus, ensuring a first-rate supply and guaranteeing the continuity of the Pannier style, which he himself defines as the perfect balance between vinosity and freshness. A permanent quest for perfection that today places Maison Pannier at the pinnacle of its art, with a fabulous collection of cuvées, of which Blanc de Noirs 2012 is an excellent illustration.
This Champagne is cut out for gastronomy: its power, character and beautiful structure make it the best ally for refined dishes. The ultimate Champagne for connoisseurs.
A perfect blend of Pinot Noir (95%) and Pinot Meunier (5%) from the Grands Crus of the Montagne de Reims, this Champagne is a hymn to elegance.
Tasting…
Taut and long, with a zesty freshness on the finish, the Pinots were particularly expressive in terms of aromatic expression and tonicity. The color is brilliant, the bubbles very fine and lively.
The nose reveals a zesty expression with notes of white fruit, licorice and citrus. The attack is straightforward, with a powerful, taut finish balanced by a dosage appropriate to the wine’s structure.
Food pairings…
This exceptional Champagne lends itself to the most delicate of dishes. Lobster roasted in semi-salted butter, tuna marinated in spices, sea bream tartar or poultry with spices.
The Blanc de Noirs 2012 is sold at the best wine merchants 33, 30€.
