A unique taste encounter between mushrooms and Krug Champagnes during the Mois Krug – Paris

In 2017, Maison Krug plays on the mushroom, a singular ingredient with multiple facets that inspires some of the world’s most prestigious chefs. From Bordeaux to Lille by way of Paris, these great names in gastronomy have worked this product with a thousand faces in original ways to create a host of captivating dishes.

On the occasion of “Krug Months”, until December 2017, This unique experience combines the know-how and inventiveness of the greatest local chefs with the emblematic creation of the House of Krug, Krug Grande Cuvée. This harmonious blend of 120 champagnes from reserve wines and wines of the year offers an exceptional cuvée, the signature of the Champagne House: each year, the House of Krug chooses a singular ingredient, which is then worked on by the various chefs at the Krug embassies around the world. 2017 will be the year of the mushroom. The mushroom, in all its varieties – size, color, flavor – lends itself to an infinite number of preparations and is ideal for food pairing. Krug Grande Cuvée is a natural match for all these dishes, thanks to the diversity of aromas it contains. Krug and Champignon form a harmonious pairing that may seem classic, but is in fact daring and inspiring, true to the unconventional spirit of Joseph Krug. The Champagne House invites you to discover these unprecedented encounters between mushrooms and Krug Grande Cuvée in restaurants, caterers and cellars throughout France, as well as other participants in the Krug Months: https://www.krug.fr
