A delightfully retro bar in the bucolic, natural setting of Etangs de Corot, just 15 minutes from Paris. The spot is ideal for sunny days. From the lanterns that light up the garden to the canotiers proudly worn by the waiters, and the forgotten liqueurs that enchant your cocktails, Les Paillotes invites you to take a trip back to the days of waterside guinguettes.
A change of scenery guaranteed. The hotel, restaurant and spa Caudalie des Étangs de Corot have the charm of the inns of yesteryear. In a garden planted with trees, a former guinguette on stilts overlooks the waters of Ville-d’Avray. The waters that inspired the Impressionists. The guinguette formula has recently changed. Restaurant manager Sébastien Renard is behind the transformation. The atmosphere is lighter, less stuffy than before, and so much the better. The original guinguette spirit is back.

You can enjoy a series of aesthetically pleasing and very tasty small plates, such as asparagus, smoked trout tartine or Burrata cheese. A real success!
The elixirs bear evocative names: Mistinguett (gin and Bénédictine liqueur), Bonne Franquette (vodka and Saint-Germain liqueur), Beau Parleur (vodka and white Lillet) and the famous Green Beast, made with absinthe and cucumber. Count €14 for a cocktail and €20 for a board to share. It’s a lot of fun.

On Sundays, the guinguette on stilts transforms to offer a festive, gourmet brunch in a relaxed, family atmosphere. Treat yourself to a savory tartine with smoked wild trout, scrambled eggs with old Comté cheese and a detox bowl with red berries and homemade muesli. Croissants, pink praline brioches, rhubarb tarts, farmhouse cheeses and yogurts are also available.
