Muscat Vieilles Vignes 2016 from Cave de Ribeauvillé: aromatic and fresh!

Cave de Ribeauvillé’s Muscat 2016 Vieilles Vignes comes from a hillside vineyard planted on the famous Ribeauvillé geological fault, which offers an incredible diversity of terroirs. The plots from which it comes are over 30 years old.
The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand. Whole bunches are pressed in pneumatic presses, after an overnight maceration for optimal extraction of aromas. Juices are separated to optimize wine quality. After static settling, the wines are fermented under temperature control and then aged on fine lees for 3 to 6 months. After filtration, the wines are bottled all at once and aged in our cellars. Muscat 2016 Vieilles Vignes reveals an intense nose of just-picked grapes. On the palate, this wine is just as aromatic and fresh. The flavor of the Muscat grape and the impression of biting into a bunch of grapes!
Muscat 2016 Vieilles Vignes is a wine to be enjoyed “dry”, ideal as an aperitif. It also goes perfectly with asparagus, sushi or spring rolls. It also goes very well with snails. To make the most of its freshness and aromas, we recommend drinking it young (within 2 years) and serving it between 8 and 10°C.
MUSCAT VIEILLES VIGNES 2016 WILL BE AVAILABLE
FOR €8.50 AT THE CELLAR FROM APRIL 15, 2017
