For Christmas, Don Papa is launching 4 limited-edition canisters designed by Filipino artists, exclusively at Nicolas.

This year, Don Papa rum takes the French on a trip to the Philippines…. Inspired by one of the heroes of the Philippine Revolution, its design leaves no one indifferent. The brand organized a competition to “transform” the canister of Don Papa 7 ans.

4 Filipino artists (Riel Hilario, Barry Cervantes, Anjo Bolarda and Renz Bautista) were chosen to rework the Don Papa universe in a limited edition.

1 – Riel Hilario, the overall winner of this competition, is a Filipino artist. He exhibits his work all over the world and in 2012 was awarded the Grand Prize of the Cultural Center of the Philippines. He names his work for Don Papa: The Spiritual Landscape of Papa Isio

2 – Barry Cervantes takes 2nd place with his work “Don Papa and the Babaylan”. Barry Cervantes is a multidisciplinary artist, including illustrator, art director, painter and graphic designer. He mainly exhibits at the Orange Gallery in Bacolod, in the Negros region.

3 – Anjo Bolarda takes 3rd place with his more contemporary universe. Self-taught, Anjo transposes his art through painting, illustrations and various installations and live performances around the world. His main gallery is Vinyl on Vinyl.

4 – Renz Bautista wins the People’s Choice Award with his work “The Florescence of Endeavour”. He studied advertising and took part in numerous national visual art competitions in the Philippines. Renz exhibits at the Vinyl on Vinyl gallery.

These 4 limited Christmas editions will be sold at Nicolas.
