Nuits-Saint-Georges
Domaine Jean Féry et Fils is a four-generation family-run estate in Burgundy, with around ten hectares of vines spread over some twenty Appellations, from the Côte de Nuits to the Côte de Beaune.
To produce this great wine, Domaine Jean Féry et Fils harvests grapes from two parcels of vines located in the “Les Damodes” area, on the northern edge of the village of Nuits-Saint-Georges, on the border with the commune of Vosne-Romanée. These parcels are classified partly as Premier Cru and partly as AOC Village.
Nuits-Saint-Georges “LesDamodes” 2014 reveals a dark, intense color. The aromas are powerful and complex, with hints of spice and blackcurrant. On the palate, the tannins are caressing, but with finesse and elegance. This wine has the suave character of its Vosne-Romanée neighbors. Nuits-Saint-Georges “LesDamodes” 2014 is ideal with game or beef bourguignon. Or, for connoisseurs, with dark chocolate cake.
