Drappier’s vineyards cover 100 hectares and represent the essential asset of the company’s wines. Since 1808, Drappier has been able to select particularly well-exposed, extremely chalky parcels, mostly located around Urville, where the Pinot Noir grape, which is in the majority, finds its finest expression and produces very elegant, aromatic wines.
Cuvée Carte d’Or is the very expression of the Drappier style. With a very high proportion of Pinot Noir, it’s almost a Blanc de Noirs. A Champagne of great aromatic richness, it opens with aromas of stone fruits such as white vine peach. A touch of spice heralds a powerful, complex palate. A winey, complex Champagne with a characteristic touch of quince jelly. Ideal service as an aperitif. Serve with white meat, fish rolls or Chaource cheese.
