“I was particularly excited by the idea of creating a new fragrance around rose, the ultimate symbol of refinement, and musk, known for its more powerful notes,” says the designer. “Creating the fragrance was a real challenge, which I think we succeeded in meeting.”
It was in Morocco that perfumer Sonia Constant found the ultimate rose absolute for the musk rose composition. Golden saffron lends an exhilarating dimension to the top notes, while a hint of labdanum imbues the musk heart with a unique opulence. Spicy black pepper and deeper patchouli add a touch of refinement to its intensity.
