Grey Flannel, the classic fragrance for men
Classic fragrances symbolize constancy, the assurance of a great juice and discreet elegance. Fashions come and go, but a classic fragrance remains timeless.
Launched in the USA in 1975, Grey Flannel revolutionized the world of men’s fragrances forever. Considered one of the first designer fragrances for men, Grey Flannel sophisticated men’s perfumes, bringing prestige and elegance.
The success of this fragrance is due to its subtle blend of surprising notes, refined packaging and discreet, chic communication.

Bold, original notes
Fresh notes of lemon and bergamot evoke a classic chypre.
Intense floral heart notes of violet, geranium and rose, boldly crafted, take you by surprise, as floral notes were previously excluded from men’s fragrances.
The rich chypre notes blend beautifully with the floral notes: a mix that gives life to a very elegant, instantly recognizable and legendary fragrance.
The rich, woody notes of cedarwood, oakmoss and tonka bean add a very masculine touch.

Geoffrey Beene, a designer free of codes
Geoffrey Beene was an original designer, a trailblazer who profoundly influenced the couturiers of subsequent generations. Considered the founder of American fashion, Geoffrey Beene is known the world over for introducing gray flannel and jersey to eveningwear, once again breaking with convention.
Trained at the Parisian Haute Couture school, he created sleek, elegant designs for men and women that won him 8 Coty awards. In recognition, he was the first to receive the Los Angeles Costume Council’s Award of Excellence in 1994. When asked “What is your proudest achievement?”, Geoffrey Beene replied, “Reinventing made-to-measure for American women… and Grey Flannel, of course.”
Geoffrey Beene’s spirit lives on in the fashion world today. The Goeffrey Beene Foundation oversees his empire and, in accordance with Goeffrey Beene’s wishes, 100% of the foundation’s net profits are donated to charity. His influence can still be seen on catwalks around the world, and his design philosophy is inspiring a whole new generation. Goeffrey Beene’s watchwords – modernity, construction and architecture – are still embraced in today’s designs. In honor of Beene’s fashion legacy, the Council of Fashion Designers of America created the Geoffrey Been Award in 1984, crowning a designer’s lifetime achievement.
Character, Masculinity and Elegance
Grey Flannel fragrance is for a man who values quality, heritage and tradition. For him, luxury lies in objects and experiences that are characterized by their beauty and uniqueness. His image reflects his personality: refined and elegant. He cultivates difference, but without extravagance. He has a confident personality. A curious, cultured man for whom knowledge is a real asset. But just like Geoffrey Beene’s fashion and fragrances, he can be full of surprises. When he wears Grey Flannel, the man displays his philosophy and delivers a message: discreet at first glance, but deeply refined. He stands out… without showing off.
