Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts will open a new gourmet address in the heart of London at the end of 2016, thanks to a partnership with Chef Anne-Sophie Pic. Housed in the Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square, the restaurant “La Dame de Pic” will be a place of high gastronomy that should excite the gourmets of the British capital. Anne-Sophie Pic will express her creativity in a classical English environment.

The only French woman chef to be awarded three Michelin stars, Anne-Sophie Pic began her career in her family’s restaurant, Maison Pic in Valence, in southeastern France. Since then, the young woman has gone her own way, opening restaurants in Lausanne and Paris, which have already won her numerous prizes and awards. La Dame de Pic, at the Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square, will be her first restaurant in the U.K.The walls of the Four Seasons Hotel at Ten Trinity Square are steeped in history. Located just a short distance from the Thames, and close to the Tower of London, Ten Trinity Square was originally designed to house the headquarters of the Port of London’s administration. Its majestic halls played a major role in both London’s history and internationally by hosting the inaugural meeting of the United Nations General Assembly in 1946, an event still commemorated today in the walnut-clad United Nations Hall. In addition to the hotel, the historic building will also offer 41 elegant and spacious Private Residences, under the Four Seasons banner.
At the heart of this sublime setting, the décor of the La Dame de Pic restaurant will be reminiscent of Parisian brasseries, but in a classic, typically English setting. Designed by Bruno Moinard of the Paris-based architecture firm 4B1, the restaurant will be both impressive in its volume and casual in its design with natural wood flooring, carved wood ornaments, rounded leather banquettes and columns lined with beveled mirrors. Guests will access the restaurant La Dame de Pic either through the Bar, the perfect place to have an aperitif or a glass of champagne, or through a dedicated street-side entrance. A private wine cellar and a dining room will adjoin the main dining room, where Anne-Sophie Pic, renowned for her search for complexity and aromatic power, will showcase her culinary identity, rich in unexpected flavor combinations. The chef wishes to enhance the value of local and seasonal products, and to accompany the guests towards new gustatory sensations, with dishes that will delight both the eyes and the palate.
“I am excited about this partnership with Four Seasons and look forward to introducing my cuisine to a new clientele in London, in the prestigious setting of Ten Trinity Square. With the Four Seasons Group, we share the same values of service excellence, and will work together to deliver an unforgettable dining experience,” commented Chef Anne-Sophie Pic.
Charlie Parker, General Manager of the Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square, added: “We are delighted to be working with Chef Anne-Sophie Pic to bring a new dining experience to London. La Dame de Pic is set to become a new landmark restaurant in London and we are very excited to bring this new service to the UK capital.
