LE-BUREaU-DES-LEGENDES

In the previous season, Guillaume Debailly, alias Malotru, an agent in the BUREAU DES LÉGENDES, the most secret department of the DGSE, returned from a six-year clandestine mission in Damascus. But contrary to security regulations, he did not give up his legend and the identity under which he lived in Syria, thus endangering the whole system…
Four months have passed within the DGSE, Guillaume Debailly, promoted to deputy director of the BUREAU DES LEGENDES, has become a double agent for the CIA. Under the guise of psychoanalysis sessions, he delivers every week to Dr. Balmes, his CIA contact agent, the information he has gathered. In exchange, Malotru expects the Americans to free the woman he loves, Nadia, imprisoned by the Syrians somewhere in the world. While on her side, Marina Loiseau begins her delicate and dangerous mission as a clandestine in Iran, the DGSE is confronted with a new crisis: a French jihadist, who has become an officer of Daech, publicly taunts France in a bloodthirsty manner. It is in this tense context that the CIA increases the pressure on Malotru. A tragic mechanism is once again put in place.

Afghanistan, 2006. Michel Caulaincourt (Stéphane de Groodt), a rogue and a bit of a mythomaniac, is being pursued by Russian mafiosi to whom he owes a lot of money. In search of a hideout, he takes refuge in the Kabul Kitchen, a unique place where expats and members of NGOs based in Kabul can party, drink alcohol and relax in a swimming pool. As for the whimsical Colonel Amanullah, he comes out of prison ruined, the CIA having dismantled his business. But it doesn’t matter, he has a big project: drugs are over, the future president of Afghanistan is him! He will have to redeem an indispensable respectability and the program “Roses against Opium”, dear to the humanitarians, will pay for it. Especially since, on his side, his new friend Michel sees a mine of dollars…
With Simon Abkarian and Stéphane de Groodt, Stéphanie Pasterkamp, Benjamin Bellecour, Marc Citti, Alexis Michalik…

Lucie Borleteau directed Cannabis. She has already co-written and directed Fidelio, l’odyssée d’Alice with Ariane Labed and Melvil Poupaud, nominated for the César in 2015 in the Best First Film category. She also collaborated on the writing of White Material by Claire Denis with Isabelle Huppert, Christophe Lambert and Nicolas Duvauchell.

Polar Day (Canal +) 2016
A French series with a very Scandinavian flavor! This original Canal + creation is a co-production with the Swedish public channel SVT and benefits from the writing and directing talents of Mans Marlind and Bjorn Stein, the winning duo from Bron (which Canal adapted with Tunnel). The violent murder of a French citizen in a small Lappish town, the nightless days of the Arctic summer, the presence of the Sami, a people in loss of bearings, just like, in her own way, the young French cop dispatched there (Leïla Bekhti – Tout ce qui brille)… So many elements that explain the expectation raised by this thriller.
