Samsung Electronics France presents the Samsung Gear S2 and Gear S2 classic, the first Samsung connected watches to feature a circular design with a rotating dial for a unique and innovative user experience.
A unique, customizable design
The Samsung Gear S2 features an elegant circular design inspired by the world of watchmaking. Its rotating dial, unique on the market, gives users quick and easy access to the watch’s functions. Users are also free to personalize the clock display, thanks to a wide choice of dials that can incorporate the complications of their choice.
The Samsung Gear S2 has been designed to offer the natural comfort of a watch and the ingenuity of a connected watch. Each user can intuitively personalize both the interface and the strap.
The Gear S2 classic is traditionally styled, with a compact 40mm case. It comes with a standard 20mm leather strap, allowing the wearer to personalize it with the strap of their choice.
The GEAR S2, on the other hand, plays on a minimalist aesthetic for its 42mm case. It comes with a fluoroelastomer strap available in two colors: black and white.
They are delivered with 2 strap sizes to suit all wrist shapes.
An innovative smartphone relay
Equipped with a circular 1.2-inch Super Amoled display, users can comfortably receive their favorite information from their wrist. Thanks to voice control, it’s never been easier to send text messages from your watch. They can also control the volume of their music by simply turning the dial.
In keeping with its sleek design, the Gear S2 is compatible with wireless charging technology, as with the brand’s latest top-of-the-range smartphones.
Supplied with a magnetic induction charger, simply place it on its cradle to start charging.
The battery also provides 2 to 3 days’ autonomy, depending on use, and recharges in just 2 hours and 30 minutes.
A sports coach at her side
With the “S Health” wellness application, the Samsung Gear S2 encourages users to be active to stay in top shape. The “24-hour” activity history lets you see the progress of your daily activities at a glance. Integrated sensors, such as the pedometer and heart rate monitor, keep you on the right track. In this way, the Samsung Gear S2 becomes a veritable sports coach.
Water and dust resistant, the Samsung Gear S2 has been designed to cope with all everyday situations, thanks to its IP68 certification.
Customized services
Users of VELIB, the world’s largest bike-sharing system, will find their lives made easier with the GEAR S2! The application accompanies urban cyclists: it indicates the nearest station, the number of free spaces and the bikes available. Simply select a station and the watch will guide you to it.
