Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Constance Jablonski, Behati Prinsloo: names now associated with the brand that will be present again this year. Bombshells with dream bodies: but at what price? As is the case every year, the brand’s rosy glitter is often marred by discussions about the models’ drastic training in the run-up to the show. In 2011, Adriana Lima confessed to a special diet and sports training regime in the run-up to the show. The 31-year-old mother adopted a diet consisting of fish (lots of protein) and declared that she would stop drinking any liquid 12 hours before the fashion show in order to have a flat stomach…
These statements alarmed more than one association. The latter went back on these remarks to qualify the drastic nature of this diet.
These are sometimes extreme measures in the run-up to the show, but for all the models, the secret lies in daily exercise and a healthy diet. Nothing restrictive or extreme, just a healthy lifestyle. Is it part of their job? It’s an eternal debate in the fashion world. However, it has to be said that these models all have firm, athletic bodies: in good health.
