-10 kilos lighter thanks to Libre Forme 8

It’s a great day for me, I’ve just passed the -10kilos mark thanks to my Libre Forme 8 program but above all thanks to the unfailing support of Fabienne, my coach at the Libre Forme 8 institute in Paris.

I’d like to remind you that I do the Libre Forme 8 slimming program in a rather special way (I go abroad almost every month, so there are weeks when I don’t eat at all according to the instructions in my program, and as a result weight loss is much slower, and that’s normal).

Minus 10 kilos seems pretty crazy to me, I’ve never been a very plump person but you can clearly see a difference. The main reason I wanted to lose weight was because I was out of breath going up the stairs and also because in 2 or 3 years’ time I’m expecting a baby (which means I’m bound to put on a few kilos, so I preferred to lose them while I could).

I’ve lost over 15cm around my hips, which is quite impressive when Fabienne shows me the “before and after” with her ribbon.

I’ve received a few messages from people telling me that the Libre Forme 8 program was difficult to follow, that there was little to eat during the day. I’ll be honest with you: yes, it’s no piece of cake, you really have to change your lifestyle and at the start of my program I was sometimes very hungry. At the same time, you have to bear in mind that I used to eat a huge plate of pasta at lunchtime, in the morning I’d eat a bowl of muesli cereal or nutella pancakes and in the evening I’d often end up with either a Chinese meal or a pizza… so my belly was always “too” full and I’d got used to it, for me it had become normal, whereas not eating so much wasn’t normal and even less healthy.

I took it on myself, telling myself that my stomach had to be reduced to slim down and that I had to hold out. However, I asked Fabienne to add a “gouté” at 4pm, something I hadn’t had before. It’s essential to communicate with your coach so that you can readjust your menus if something goes wrong, rather than giving up.

With Libre Forme 8 I’ve learned to add less salt to my food, to eat much less sugar and above all to use and abuse aromatic herbs and to appreciate vegetables more. My body has become more harmonized, I feel fitter, more toned and less tired (I donate blood and don’t feel tired afterwards). I’d also like to point out that I’m 26 and in excellent health, so that’s obviously a factor, but I’m convinced that my personalized Libre Forme 8 program has a lot to do with it too.

This weight loss feels a bit like a victory, I feel more fulfilled and it makes me want to do new things (I’ve started using feng shui, I’ve changed a lot of things in my house). I can see how a physical change can make you want to keep going and change other things in your daily life.

Today, I still love pasta and pizza, but I also want to do my body good by offering it more natural products. Here are 2 recipes from Libre Forme 8 that I really like and which are perfect for this summer season:

Green asparagus salad with tomatoes, ham and Parmesan shavings

f

Eggplant, tomato and mozzarella millefeuille

e

Quick, easy and tasty recipes.

Today I still have a few kilos to lose. I have no idea when my program will end, as I’ll be going to Japan for 1 month very soon. But I remain confident and I’m more than delighted with my current weight loss.
