The Spa du Mandarin Oriental de Paris presents “Zen & the City”, its afterwork imagined in collaboration with its wellness concierge Rebecca Leffler, and offered from September 5, 2015.
Open to all, hotel guests and non-hotel guests alike, Zen & the City offers a soothing one-hour interlude in the heart of the capital, based on the afterwork model. Its name is a nod to Rebecca Leffler, New York journalist and author of the American-style healthy lifestyle bible “Green, Glam et Gourmande”, who came up with the concept and took on the role of Mandarin Oriental’s wellness consultant for the occasion.
After a stressful day at work or an intense shopping spree, guests will begin by conditioning body and mind with a 30-minute yoga session. The class is led by a specialized teacher who will tailor the treatment to the level and wishes of the students.
The afterwork continues with a 30-minute body or facial massage in one of the Spa’s 7 private suites. Offered with Aromatherapy Associates products, the massages will be tailored to the customer’s preferences. Afterworkers can end the day on a gourmet note with a light snack prepared by Thierry Marx, accompanied by a smoothie created by Rebecca Leffler for each season.
The “Zen & the City” afterwork is offered from September 5, 2015 at a rate of 150 Euros per person and includes:
- – A 30-minute yoga session
- – A 30-minute body or facial massage
- – A “wellness” snack created by Thierry Marx and Rebecca Leffler
The “Zen & the city” afterwork is available all year round, every day of the week, from 5pm to 8pm, by reservation on 01 70 98 73 35 or [email protected].
