The 7th edition of the Balades Gourmandes en Terroir Pierrefeu will be held on May 30 and 31, a not-to-be-missed event for lovers of Provence wines.

Organized by the Association des Vignerons de Cuers, Pierrefeu et Puget-Ville (Cuers, Pierrefeu and Puget-Ville Winegrowers’ Association), which brings together 31 wineries, including 4 cooperative wineries and 27 private wineries, this stroll is an invitation to epicurean delights. This initiative, a pioneer in the region, was launched in 2009, and is attracting increasing numbers of visitors: over 1,500 people took part in the 6th edition.
During the six-kilometer walk through the grounds of Château La Gordonne in Pierrefeu-du-Var, visitors are invited to taste wines from the AOC Côtes de Provence appellation, Terroir Pierrefeu, to the rhythm of five gourmet dishes created by four top local chefs. A convivial event where visitors discover the quality of the wines and cuisine that are the pride of the region.
It’s no coincidence that the event takes place here. Indeed, the Pierrefeu-du-Var region is a plain punctuated by sun-drenched hills where vines have been planted since ancient times. The gourmet walks take place in this green setting, offering unsuspected landscapes that combine vineyards and forest.
13 rosés, 12 reds and 3 whites, a total of 29 wines will be presented by winegrowers from the Association des Vignerons de Cuers, Pierrefeu et Puget-Ville.
